Studen tAppreciation Day 2013 Lunch

RAISE THE STANDARDS IN OUR STUDENTS: We devote this day to our students. It is a day of fun and celebration. Our students will enjoy a special lunch prepared by Bob the Builder, and a dress down day dressing as a construction worker in jeans and flannel attire. When families enroll their children in Catholic school, they know they will receive an excellent education that is steeped in the Catholic faith and focused on the needs of each student. Today's prayer is A Student's Prayer for the Future.

ST. FRANCIS OF ASSISI SCHOOL CELEBRATES OVER 60 YEARS OF CATHOLIC EDUCATION
CATHOLIC SCHOOLS WEEK 2013, JANUARY 27– FEBRUARY 1The theme for Catholic Schools Week 2013 is "Catholic Schools Raise the Standards". Catholic schools are noted for their academic excellence and high moral standards. This year's theme celebrates the constant attention Catholic educators pay to increasing the learning and growth in faith of all students. The theme highlights the launch of a new initiative, the National Standards and Benchmarks for Effective Catholic Elementary and Secondary Schools, to ensure consistent high standards at Catholic schools across the country. Catholic educators also are participating in a nationwide education initiative for all schools called the Common Core State Standards. The logo illustrates a chart of steady growth culminating in the highest achievement of them all, a cross representing the faith that underscores all Catholic education. -
SFA Winter Blast Social
SFA School will be hosting it's first annual WINTER BLAST social for grades 4 through 8.
