Congratulations to Nikki M, Grade 8, winner of the Diocesan Math Bee!

beewinner  Nikki M. represented St. Francis of Assisi School at the Diocesan Upper-Grade Math Bee on February 28th at OLPH Catholic Academy in Brooklyn NY.  After over 20 grueling rounds, Nikki came in first.  We here at St. Francis congratulate Nikki on her drive, perseverance, and accomplishment!

Catholic Schools Week Continues - Day 3

CSWSAD2017  TUESDAY, JANUARY 31ST WE ACKNOWLEDGE FAITH, KNOWLEDGE, AND SERVICE IN OUR STUDENTS

Today, we celebrated our students by planning enjoyable and meaningful activities for them and recognizing their accomplishments. We encouraged students to reflect on the benefits of Catholic education and how the grounding in faith, knowledge, and service it provides will help them throughout their lives. Our students enjoyed a free Big Apple Breakfast for Lunch, and were able to dress down in red and white or green and white. Later in the afternoon, parents attended a special presentation by Cary Anne Fitzgerald, Parent/Community Outreach Coordinator for the Program for the Development of Human Potential, Diocese of Brooklyn titled #parents: Social Media and Your Child.
