Technology News and Assignments
Wednesday Classes: Grade 4 is finalizing a "New York" presentation; Grade 2 continues utilizing spelling word sentences to complete a long-term project, while Grade 1 combines language arts, math and graphics in weekly technology projects. No new Learning.com homework assignments have been made this week. (Those previously assigned should now be complete.) K-106 continues to search for "letter of the week" graphics. Patience and creative thinking are required for some of those letters! Thursday Classes: Grades 5, 7, 8 have new Learning.com homework assignments. Grade 8 participated in a contest sponsored by the American Scholastic Achievement League. This requires answering online 100 "general interest" questions. Grade 7 completed a long-term multimedia PowerPoint project and were asked to prepare a 3-panel presentation on the Chinese New Year for follow-up techniques. Grade 6 worked on a 5-panel multimedia project about the Chinese New Year. No new Learning.com lessons, but many students are incomplete - please check on this. Grade 5 completed research for a teacher-assigned project and then utilized Kerpoof for a new one. K-102 Explored the letter Ee locating graphics of an eagle, several versions of the earth, and an eggplant! |
