Lessons continue to be assigned for homework so that projects may be done in the lab. New lessons have been assigned for grades 1 - 7. Gr 8: complete all Grade 7 assignments. Parents, thank you for monitoring these assignments. |
As we start the second trimester students will begin to utilize new technology tools. Some will be purchased programs while many will be selected from among the free Web 2.0 tools. (In several cases students are provided with individual accounts, e.g. AviaryEdu, Kerpoof.) Each technology project is planned to extend and enhance their various academic subjects. Daily keyboarding practice will make the process easier to quickly "type the text" so that the fun search for graphics may begin!
