Grade K is using MaxWrite to demonstrate their ELA classwork. Grades 1 & 2 are learning various aspects of wordprocessing using Microsoft Word.
Grades 3 & 4 are practicing their Math skills using the Diocesan-provided Mathletics online program.
Grade 5 has been introduced to Voki.com to create an avatar, add a text message and has now begun to experiment with recording their message. Grades 6 though 8 are among other things, using a variety of tools to create movies about curricular topics.
Chess Club hosted by Mr. LaMicela: Students in Grades 1 – 5 have joined our Chess Club to learn the game. This club meets after school on Wednesdays.

Congratulations! Msgr. Maresca celebrates his 35th Anniversary of Priesthood as the month begins. Grades 1 - 8: We continue to explore a variety of programs in curricular-related situations. Keyboarding practice with one of the many online age-appropriate programs is important.
Students in grades 3-8 have a variety of personal online accounts for practice (e.g. Grades 3 & 4 Mathletics) and for productivity (e.g. Grades 4 - 8 Kerpoof).
Kindergarten students should practice locating letters - we've been using the letter of the week to create printouts. |
