In Reading and Phonics we are learning to read! This week we will learn about the letters X/x and Y/y.

In Math we will continue learning about measuring and we will prepare for our Chapter 11 Test.

In Religion we will learn about the Ascension of Jesus.

In Social Studies we will talk about needs and wants.

In Math we will continue learning about measuring.

In Religion we will read stories about Jesus in the Bible.

In Science we will learn about the life cycle of butterflies.

In Social Studies we will learn about Mexico and Cinco de Mayo.

Please begin to practice Word List #5 with your child.

In Math we will continue learning about clocks.  Chapter 10 Test on Friday!

We will learn about banks and saving money on National Teach Children to Save Day.

In Science we will learn about Earth Day. We will learn about plants on our field trip to the Brooklyn Botanic Garden on Wednesday and we will learn about chimpanzees on our field trip to the movies on Friday.

In Math we will begin learning to tell time.

In Social Studies we will learn about Japan to help us welcome our new classmate, Sora, who recently moved from Japan.
