School Year 2016-17 Grade 4 & 5 Reading List

Homework Policy

Homework is given most nights. It is expected that homework is completed and signed by a parent. I ask that you sign the planner so that you are aware of all assignments and tests given. Tests/quizzes dates are always indicated in the assignment planner.  Also, direct correspondence from me may be indicated in the planner for your response or acknowledgement. All homework is important and it would be appreciated if you as the parent put emphasis on the quality and completion of homework.  It must be a priority for the success of your child’s education. If your child is struggling with a concept, let me know on the homework page and we will go over it together. Most times homework is corrected together as a class. Math homework is always corrected together as a class.

*You will be notified of a pattern of consistent incomplete homework and students will know of the consequences.
