These interesting facts about our curriculum and services:

  • That we have a comprehensive academic program including Language Arts, Mathematics, Social Studies, Science, Religion, Art, Music, Italian, Physical Education, and Library/Resource.
  • That we have 2 fully equipped Computer Labs.
  • That we have a computer in every classroom with Internet connections.
  • That we have a CPS (Classroom Performance System) on every floor, LCD Projectors, Interactive White Boards, and a Multi-Media Library.
  • That we have a state-of-the-art Science Lab.
  • That we have a Medical Room with an R.N. on duty daily.
  • That we have Title 1 Services: a Social Worker and for 2 days/week each: a Reading and a Math specialist.
  • That we have a three-day Toddler Time for Two Program for 2 year olds accompanied by an adult.
  • That we have a five-day Pre-School Program for 3 year olds; half or full days available.
  • That we have three FREE Universal PreK (half-day) Programs each with a Teacher and Teacher Assistant and that each section has the option to be extended to a blended SFA Program.

  • That every faculty member is accredited, that many are state certified and that many have advanced degrees.
  • That every faculty member has Religious Education certification; that all faculty/staff members must attend and keep current with Virtus, a child abuse program sponsored by the Diocese.
  • That the majority of the faculty/staff have CPR training.
  • That we have a defibrillator.
  • That every teacher moderates an after school-club.

  • That 100% of our 2009 graduating class were accepted into a high school of their choice.
  • That 37% of our 2009 graduating class received scholarships to high school.
  • That 87% of our 8th graders passed the New York State Mathematics test.
  • That 96% of our 6th graders passed the New York State Mathematics test.
  • That 91% of our 4th graders passed the New York State Mathematics test.
  • That 90% of our 8th graders passed the New York State English Language Arts test.
  • That 96% of our 6th graders passed the New York State English Language Arts test.
  • That 79% of our 4th graders passed the New York State English Language Arts test.
