Rainforest Project Directory
African, South American and South East Asian Rainforests

Come visit a place
Where the weather is hot
I know what you’re thinking,
But the desert it’s not.

There’s so much to see
Starting on the floor.
Watch your step for a snake
Or maybe a wild boar.

The understory, to some
May sound like a book
But you’ll find lizards & bloodsuckers
If you take a close look.

Next is the canopy,
It’s scary, I’m not lying.
Bats are all over,
Hanging and flying.

The animals are friendly
They love to have guests.

Birds like the trees,
They think they’re best.
The emergent layer, for them
Is the place to build nests.

There’s so much to see

So many animals to meet.
It rains quite a bit
You’ll have water at your feet.
